We're really looking forward to the album launch gig at Cafe Drummond in Aberdeen on 2nd December 2011! The album is finished and it's been kinda launched already because you can get it from our bandcamp page, but at the gig the first physical CDs will be available which is always an exciting time. It should be a great gig and we hope to see some of you down there. Doors at 8pm, support from Omar Bin Mohamed Afif and The Woodland Roots Orchestra.
The launch party at Cafe Drummonds was a hoot and a great night. Improvised show; lots of funky stuff going on with Paddy standing in on bass (thanks) Woodland Orchestra drummers and the audience joining us on stage! Thanks for all coming. Andy believes that was his best ever gig! Feedback's been excellent. Scottie from Deviltrain states it was "an absolute stormer", thanks mate. The launch party was soo goooood that we have decided to offer the same 'event' for summer festivals... so that’s fringe events, the festivals themselves and maybe a session or two in the Woodland Orchestra's own marquee!! |

We've hand made a small amount of CDs (with great art work - thanks Jess!) which were available at our launch gig; with the rest being sent out as promotional material.
This EP has been self released as a taster before the album "Away From the Mainstream" which we hope will be issued in 2011.
